Those scales must have taken AGES man! How do you make them all in the same size?

I carved one scale out of sheet styrene, then molded it, cast half dozen, molded those, until I have three gang molds of about 30 scales and keep casting and gluing them on in alternating rows. A time consuming pain in the ass, but it 's generally worth the effort for the effect.
