# About me
I make Custom Action Figures, am an illustrator, indie musician, enjoy Cosplay and do a bit of writing, among other pursuits. This page is dedicated mostly to the Custom Figures, which has become quite a serious passion of mine.I never know what to write in these things. I am an artist. There is a very serious side to me and a side that is the total opposite, and in a summary it is never easy to marry such opposites into one description. As a youth I was (and still am, to a degree) a huge comic book geek. I started out wanting to draw comic books. That evolved into wanting to be a renaissance man, so in whatever I do I feel a burning, unquenchable desire to do my best, since being "THE" best, is relative. Then, regardless of "success" or "failure", I can be satisfied because I know, at least, that it is genuine.
On a personal level, I'm a very laid back person and I love art and creativity of all kinds from all people and I Love meeting new people, assuming they are not assholes. I Love Music, mainly Rock n' Roll, Comic books, Brit Sitcoms, cartoons, cinema, drama and poetry and alot of other things. It's hard to be funny when trying to be concise, so I've decided this bio will be straight forward.
There is a story by Rumi with a quote in it that I love, not only because of what it says about Love, but because it translates to alot in Life. It's says, "Those who pay attention to ways of behaving and speaking are one sort....
Lovers who burn....are another.β
I think passion can translate no matter what you do, but one thing I Love about Custom Action Figures is that it's kind of innocent. It appeals to the same part of me that would have Loved them when I was a kid. It doesn't have to carry the weight of the World like the words of a song sometimes feel like they have to and in that way, it's freeing. When people enjoy them, it is usually that part of them that remains aglow, that dreams of heroes and villains and the poetry in between. That is what I am here to share with you. I'm also blown away by the awesome things people post here.
There's another thing, when Ian Curtis, the Lead Singer of 'Joy Division' was asked if he thought his songs were beautiful, he said, "They're not all meant to be beautiful."
To me, that's art. No one thing can capture what I'd like to say, so I let this medium just be one way to say something.
