Well, my favorite location in Dark Souls is Darkroot Garden, and I really wanted to make a piece with it. I was just checking out the new Sif intro in PTDE and seeing Sif not wanting to fight made me think of Fluttershy. And of course, Sif VS Fluttershy would be highly controversial as neither of them wants to kill the other (which could be said for most players).

Well, I use pse 8 and my Bamboo* tablet (made by wacom). I used a brush a high level of feather and turned the opacity to 67%. once i finished the rough sketch, I added a background gradient, and used some various other texture brushes with a low opacity to make the moss on the tombstone and the leaves in the background. Finally, I used the burn and dodge tools to add highlights and lowlights/shadows. This all took around 5-6 hours.
