Not for Sale or TradeClaude is defiantly a household favorite. He's one gorgeous cross and silky soft. My roommate steals him all the time.

Ugh, there he is by himself. Having handled over 70 cross foxes this year, I will say this one something special. This is an Ohio captured wild fox, or a ranched animal? The colors!

I'm pretty sure he's a wild one. Claude's much smaller then my ranched babies, but he's one special cross for sure. I've never been able to pinpoint why, he just always attracts people to him. I remember seeing his eBay listing and I couldn't help myself XD!
I do know that Northern crosses are much less bold in their coloration. They tend to have a nice mixture of colors through their fur, while Southern animals colors are pretty defined in specific areas of the body. Northern ones also seem much grayer then the Southern ones I've seen. They're still very pretty! I hope to own an Alaskan cross when I have the funds.
I've ordered 3 other animals from the tannery I got Claude from and every one of the foxes were very vibrant in coloration and very soft ([link] , [link] )

Yes, he has the fur of a midwest fox but never seen any cross foxes in the wild down there. He certainly is one of the more distinct colored ones I've seen in awhile.

On average, how much do you pay for a pelt (mind me asking)? The only ones near my house are wolves which are $900 and that seems ridiculous. ;_;

Never give up! I've seen really pretty foxes go for pretty cheap at times (talking $20-$30). If you're willing to become a hermit, and reject the way of the day walkers, you'll find one XD!
