It's finally finished! Yay. I really should do smaller images.Anyway, this is Shao from the manga and anime series, Mamotte Shugogetten. I've never seen or read the series but from what I know she is a guardian from the moon. After being being released from an artifact after many years by a young boy she must be his protector. Something like that anyway.
It's quite an old series so I doubt many people have heard of it. It looks very cute none the less.
I did this piture after ~Shaorin-Chan requested I draw Shao after seeing some very old pieces I'd done of her. When I first started drawing I'd practice by drawing Shao and Card Captor Sakura. So this was a very fun piece to do.
I tried soft shade again. >_< I need more practise shading clothes. I like how the hair turned out though.

thank you so very much, spiral!! β₯she's lovelyβ₯ MS is SO underapprieciated!! the Anime has it's faults, but it IS the only way to see AND HEAR little Shao walk and talk and speak. the Manga is far better, and currently has a new lease on life in the U.S. thanks to publisher TOKYOPOP. i've gotten the first three volumes so far, and am hoping they perk enough interest to incite one of the U.S. Anime publishers to begin a U.S. localization of the Anime series. i'm not gonna hold my breath, though...
