Description Wooo 2 pictures in one day. Very unusual for me. Well it is the holidays!

This is Alicia, she’s =dejichan and ~Suppi ’s character. She is from the “Back to Ishtera” story they are creating. We were having a little quest on her forum and the quest was to draw one of their characters in casual every day where.

I drew her in some nice clothes. The jeans tucked into the boots is the look this season where I live. Well I do it… hahah, she’s wearing my boots. :3 I was going to draw Biku, her little bat friend..but I kinda killed him.

I didn’t use a reference for this which amazes me. I’m quite surprised I did this hair. I usually suck at all hair in general. It was quite a fun picture to do and it didn’t take me that long, maybe it’s because I did this entire picture in one sitting. Haha.

Sketched on paper, scanned onto photoshop. Inked and cged with a tablet.

i agree with meteoramaxwell. i haven't really browsed through your gallery for the longest of times, and i apologise cause you used to comment on my work so much @_@
but yes you have been improving lately, in both cging and your drawings are now proportioned!

=dejichan and ~Suppi are creating their own little story. They have been working on it for 3 years now. Currently they are going to make flash games out of it. n_n

I see, youre pictures are really OK. just keep on doing what you like and try to experementing on other techiques. Such as lines, sometimes lines has to be static not too linear, cuz that can be depic were your ligthing came, more ligth on the part means the lines are thin. The dark side are the thick ones not too thick, and it really helps when comes to shading.

And depecting realizim or like 3D effect (bringing depth) on the art are from the way when shading it. A really good thing too. Not to forget Color balance aswell.

Try not to overdecorate, as I always say Beauty comes from Simplicity!So keep it up!

Almost forgot! Try to do different kinds of style, And Improve it. Thats where Originality and Improvements comes on artist. I really like youre chibis and other arts! So keep on improving them.

About the lines, Thick lines are for the dark sides, and the thin lines are for brigth areas. It helps to easly depict where youre ligthing comes from. I learned that when making traditional ones at school.

Some animes and mangas only do lines for their characters, when it comes to backgrounds just coloring or maybe very thin lines, just for the neatness of there works.
