Edward is enemies with the rain.

He’s by the chilled windows and who knows why because even though his right arm is back his left leg still needs automail; it is still metal hooked up to traumatized flesh. He’s having the joints of his hip throbbing and aching enough to show on his face. That’s routine whenever there is enough moisture in the air for clouds to be heavily dark and pregnant, never mind the eventual rain.

The rain falls by. The sound is actually pretty. Edward Elric’s mind is not. He already had a feeling that it’d rain today. Nightmares were usually signs of that. Nightmares and aches.

There are better memories of rain in him. The association however, is set by Edward’s mind. His worse memories are by all means defeated but they remain unpleasant.

An arousing smell softly invades his throat through the thoughts and the colours of the rain, coming through the smell of the rain permeating through the atoms’ worth of gaps between the windowpanes –he should invent a better way of ventilation. There is a sound of soft feet next to him. Edward glances to find his wife with two steaming cups of coffee, a beam set on her face. The robust smell of the coffee is delicious and he reaches forward for a cup. He likes coffee. Priscilla likes her coffee as well, and should be sitting down beside him any moment now.

She bunches her skirt and sits down on his lap instead. He should have anticipated. Not that he minds. She is smiling and curling into him. He can’t help but smile back slowly.

There’s a mischief in her eyes before they close to drink in the warm liquid cupped between her palms. She has this way with her expressions; this one tells him that things are different now. She knows better than to leave him alone during the rain, she’d told him before.

Neither of them says anything. But he gives that long-brewed dislike of his against rain and against his joints aching with the awful smell of tragedy a re-evaluation for this moment in time.

Instead he drinks in the smell of coffee, drinking in the taste too. The dull colours of the rain are replaced with the schemes of his wife’s skin, hair and eyes. Priscilla is here and lit up with her face washed over by the grey daylight and her bright red hair’s hue muted to antique-colours and she looks like a good dream, not a nightmare. Like this, he can remember that for many people rain is an episode that washes away the debris and skeletons of the troubled mind with heavy and pregnant clouds blanketing the world.

Okay so... Cherry felt like doing some toning the other day... BUT she had nothing to work with, so she drew arts she could tone and everyone lived happily ever after. The end.

Heh, uhum. I think it's been a while since I last drew Edpriss art, I've been drawing commissions....and Fiolee... hehehe. I finished it last night while I talked to who was apparently fapping to Hugh Jackman atm, but that's a different story.

Anyhow... Ed was feeling angsty... for some reason... well he's got plently of them so that's like not weird. She doesn't like it when Ed gets gloomy, she tries her best to keep him from randomly feeling angsty, so cuddling will probably do she thinks.

And there's random coffee there.... I love how this ended up having a coffee Ad feel to it. Those where coffee seems to make everything better lol.

Oh it has japanese SFXs... seriously, why do the japanese have SFXs for EVERYTHING, and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING. They can hear shit we can't apparently, like when you smile and you make the sound "niko niko" I bet you didn't know that heh
Those were fun, but a pain in the ass to place.
