This started off with such great potential, but then the background kept failing and the lines and color got messed up. But I'm relatively pleased with the final product. I hope you like it!Please comment! I love constructive critiques so much more than just faves! It helps me improve

I really like this picture, and it is much better than what I could do in this style of drawing. You asked for constructive criticism...so..all i would say is...add more shadows around her head, and maybe detail the flowers a bit more :]
I think the grass turned out very nice, and I really like the details in the dress. I would try to make the colors a little more...intense...around her head to balance out with the dark color of the dress. i think a waterfall would be nice in the background, with a bright blue sky with a few fluffy clouds.

Picture is nice, but the colors aren't bold enough to bring out the natural beauty of the girl's face. The dark colors are dull on the dress and doesn't speak out on how the color should stand out. Try using bolder colors to make it more realistic. That way, it won't be shown dull-looking or a "rushed" coloring job. On the flowers, try detailing them more instead of the flowers looking bland or looking like pink and blue leaves. If you can't detail them, I recommend a stencil of flower prints or practice on drawing your flowers and bringing out the creativity out of them.

Lol, I guess I should have pointed out that the flowers were brushes that I used. I agree about the colors. They could have been brighter. I tend to go to the dull side of things when I'm coloring. Thank you for the critique! I really appreciate it!

This is lovely. I like the turn of her head and her dress and hairstyle look very beautiful. So elegant and ladylike. Charming artwork.

I like this picture, i like how there is alot of details on the dress, especially on the many pleats. I love the colours used on the dress as this were probably the colours they used to make the dress you have drawn. I do agree with the critique that the flowers & the grass should be a little bolder to make it life like.
But overall i really like the picture.

I love the style of her dress-its beautifully drawn and the colors go well together!
I also like how you drew her hand and the rose.
Her expression is really serene and calm, almost as if she was posing for a portrait!

Very well done, I like how the overall design doesn't have clashes between simplicity and complexity (Happens a lot with frillier dresses and grass). Overall I really like it.
On the critique side of things, with the exception of the grass, hair, and the lower part of the dress it would be good to see some more contrasting shading. Darker shadows, lighter highlights, that sorta thing.

Out of place as in it looks like she should be in a different location or does she just look like she's not sitting naturally? I noticed that I made the stone a little far back, so I'm going to fix that

How do you do the transparent background?

Do you know how to use layers on photoshop? Draw the image on a layer, not the background. The lack of background will be shown as white and grey checks. You can delete the background by right clicking on it in the layer section.
Then you have to save the file as a PNG file. That way it will save the transparency. I hope that helps

Okay!~ I use layers all the time. That's why my pics are all totally colored. I do the lineart on one layer and color it by hand in a layer underneath it. ^^

That's what I do too! Except sometimes I forget until the line art is half done, so the color ends up sucking
