Description These tulgeys grow tall in order to release their reproductive spores, and disperse them throughout a larger area.  They also grow and release their needle-like leaves at specific intervals, which allows areas of the stem to be used for the collection of necessary particles.  Growing in well-lit areas to compensate for their relatively low needle-to-body mass proportion, they are popular targets for larger Odinian herbivores.

What the ...? I drew something that looked almost exactly like that yesterday for my own alien project! Great minds think alike, I guess...

It's interesting, this has happened before with me and other xenobiologists. We refer to it as "convergent speculation", similar to convergent evolution. It seems that all of us humans have the same kind of ideas.

I guess so. Its great work nonetheless, I couldn't colour it in such detail as this . Although mine has green "leaves".

The levels of similarity are just abnormal apart from that last fact though. My picture's even bending to the side like yours!

Guess I'll be needing a redesign.
