Do you have a render of it before you touched it up in Photoshop? That's what I would really like to see, because the way it is, it just looks like a re-painting. But I love the idea of a sculpture of a painting in 3D!
Her hands look wonderful~

actually i played with the textures rather than repainting it. i wanted a painting-like material.
but i did retouching in ps. but unfortunately i don't have the before-retouching images. it was a loooong time ago.
but i provided some wireframes for you to see.

Amazing piece, I would not have thought a 3d work of art could so closely resemble a painting, and thats coming from a traditional figure painter! Grats on the DD hun!

Wow. Your modeling is exquisite. You've done a most wonderful translation of 2-D art to 3-D art. I can imagine that achieving the posing would have been difficult, and rather suspect a little anatomical distortion was necessary. The old masters didn't concern themselves with the truth of dimension, but rather with the truth of their own visual acuity. Time plays a part in sketching from life, and changes the final product drastically, especially compared to the monocular vision of a camera. You've captured that element that time adds, perfectly.
Bravo. This piece is astounding. I sincerely hope you make it into that book.
