Description Here are three characters in a children’s book that a friend and I are working on. I have been working on this story for about 3 years now and I needed Cheryl-Anne to come in and make sure that my story comes out smoothly. The attached character illo is apart of the pitch.

Exquisite and richly classical as usual. I love this one and can't wait to see the final product- will you let us know who watch you here on DA when the book is to be released to the public?

Don't hold your breath, this is still in "Pitch" form! But when I do get a bite, I will definitely let all my DA friends know! I'll be celebrating and drinking champaign as well!!

Aww Pat! That cat's expression is so wonderful! Strong composition here as well. Classic illustratorish type stuff.

Aw, I wish I was still a child so that I could admire your work (even more than I am now). But your imaginative and happy artwork speaks to the child inside all of us, and this one is no different. Great job!

Is that like Yupo synthetic paper?

Your 'Yupo Synthetic Paper' sounded so interesting that I went to it's website and order a sample package. I have it in front of me right now and trying to figure out what I want to do with it! This paper isn't readily available in my corner of the universe so if this turns out to be a fantastic surface work on, it will be internet shoppping time!

Thanks for mentioning 'Yupo'

Oh fantastic! I hope it works out for you!
I'm very curious myself. I've never used it, but a watercolorist friend of mine said it was 'the cool new thing' last time she went to a workshop. (Though how do you get watercolor to stay on plastic? I don't know.)

There are products out there from natural gums to synthetic mediums that will make watercolour stick to anything! Just need to find the one you like!!

Playing with watercolour and the different mediums that can be added to it is kid messy fun!!!!
