This was directly inspired by the work of two genius: the writings of Robert E. Howard and the art of John Buscema.

I agree about Buscema. He is by far the most influential artist in my artistic life.

But I was actually referring to the water color approach.

Well, 20 years back when digital coloring wasn't available watercolor seemed the best way for coloring an ink drawing.

Actually I'm flying to Palma on Nov. 6th to see the exhibition. I hope to purchase the catalog there if it's not sold out yet!

I would love to go! I used to own the Avengers #42 cover that's in the show. Sold it to Mandel some years back.
