Another 'little people' piece, I like adding little ladders and ropes and stuff to pictures zoomed in. I finaly finished with adding the shadows

i like the placement of the shadows, but the shading on the red ball looks wrong.IMO, the highlights should go more upper leftish than that.
you could also try using a darker color of the object, instead of pure black (i.e., the red ball could have a dark red outline), but that's just a choice of style i guess.you could try it though, and see if the results are ok with your current style.
looking good though, your attention to detail amazes me.

Ah thank you, the shadows took alot of time hehe.
This was one of my first tries at doing a ball and dithering etc and this was one of my first attempts at pixel art.. well its quite early, I like using black outlines for some reason, if you look in my scraps I have a few examples of me trying other methods though hehe.

I'm a big fan of this larger, more detailed pixel art. In fact, I think it'd be very cool to see more of the scene here rather than just a zoomed in look at a bookshelf. If you put your mind to it and spent a little time, I bet you'd come up with a fantastic piece of pixel art.
Your shadows and highlights are really quite good as well as the wood grain pattern you created. That's a lot of detail to put in by hand, but it really pays off in the end result.
Nice work, hope to see more in the future.

Thanks, I'm working on finishing it but progress is slow and the shadows I want to add are pretty complex because the shelf casts a shadow aswel as the objects.
