This one came out looking VERY nice in a small blonde wood frame. I gave it to my in-laws as a gift when we visited them. Hence my not uploading it till now.
This time a different interpretation of the podcat deity 'The Creator', another take on the markings and whatnot. I decided to remove my personal markings from her and leave her eyes blue.
This picture was made based on my new tattoo x3 in a similar pose but colored for the fun of it.
Prismacolor pencils/Markers/white acrylic paint.

Because the blood turns blue they superstitiously feel as if the effected is touched by the creators own hand. Often they are taken away to be with the spiritualists and secluded from the rest of the pride. Treated as an oracle or prophet no matter the age of the ill podcat and treated with the utmost care and respect as they waste away and die.
They view the creator as life and death as a whole, thus why she is represented with blue lights instead of green.

oh, okay. thanks for clearing that up ^^ um, this also makes me wonder, since the disease commonly shows up in infants, would a female who consistently had podkittens that had the disease be seen as blessed or cursed?

Well since it isn't covered in this sheet.. The egg(s) are laid by the female then left for a year to grow and then hatch within the territory of the pride the female came from. They don't really do the whole maternal paternal thing. The podkittens are viewed as children of all and sometimes hatching occur before the pride meets to gather them a year later (podkittens are self sufficient upon hatching enough to hunt/scavenge and can survive alone for months before being assimilated into the pride. A podkitten that wanders too far and never finds his pride will grow up socially hampered as they do not communicate based on instinct alone.
If the female could be pin-pointed I assume some would think of her as either way. Blessed or Cursed. She would be avoided or pitied.
