how do u do scratch art

you use tools that are a little sharp on one end, use scratch board and scratch the black ink off of the board to reveal the white clay underneath. all you really need to do is practice a little to get used to the way the scratching is done and then remember that you aren't shading you are highlighting.

you can probably find scratch board at a local art store, or hobby lobby if you have one. they have a starter type kit too. or you can look for scratch paper to start out with, its not near as good as scratch board but at least you'll get used to it.
