Day 1 of Mermay

Decided to join Mermay, I initially wanted to follow the prompt list, but I didn’t like the prompt list, so I’m going to just use it as a loose inspiration. In this case I had the idea to make a selkie because my avatar is a seal.

Did a small bit of research on Inuit people/culture. I was going to have her holding an instrument called a tautirut, because it’s a string instrument and she’s a “harp” seal, but I couldn’t find any footage of anyone using it so I opted out of that option.
