Day 3 of Mermay

I had a busy day today, so I’m a bit later on this than the other ones. I’m happy with how the muscles turned out. I used that one image of various Olympic athletes lined up as a quick reference, it’s an invaluable tool for making strong characters because it gives you a general idea of what any given sport’s peak performance looks like.

Fun fact: Sharks breathe water by swimming forward so that the water flows through their gills, extracting the oxygen as it goes by. If a shark stops moving, it will begin to suffocate … is it still technically suffocation if it’s not air being breathed?
