where did you get the wooden ball youve got sitting in the joint? (im having troube making my own joints so im wanting to try it with beads or something... or have any tips/tutes on how you did it?)

It's a cabinet knob I found at Hobby Lobby. I've since started making my own 3d joints and printing them through shapeways.com You can find them here: [link] Pulkifee also makes some on shapeways but I don't have her shop URL atm. If you poke around on there you should be able to find it!

do you ever make a cast and mold of any of your dolls. if you do what do you use?

I do cast them in resin. :3 I used smoothon Oomoo silicon. It's low strength so you don't get a whole lot of casts from it, but it's easy to pour, doesn't create a lot of bubbles and is relatively economical in price.

I start with paperclay and then build them up, then I make a mold and cast them in resin. :3 there's lots of WIP shots in the WIP folder.
