As soon as he mentioned what he wanted, this concept came into my head.

Aww, this is so cute! I love the idea behind this picture and pose and expression are adorable!
Those imaginative wings are beautiful and so dreamy looking that the viewer gets the point immediately.

wow this is different . Fantastic job on the anatomy and pose. The pose is spot on and love his "Yay!" expression . Great effect with the sand and love how you've made it look as though the character has kicked up the dust. Beautiful earthly colours and bright blue sky as is signifying the different between earth and air. Love how you've done the wings as well as though giving them an imaginary look if that makes any sense . Beautiful shading as always, especially with the mane. Great job .
