Even if it's not my type of dragon, his too feline. But, I have to recognase that you made a little wonder with the background and the shadows. You had so much fun working on this? for sure you past may days on this^^

I don't know what impresses me more, the fantastic background or the head of the character with his awesome horns! XP
The background really looks awesome! The grass in the "foreground" is especially lovely.
And I love the hills, the starry sky and the river...looking at this picture the sounds these things would make just appear in my mind.
What a wonderful and calm atmosphere... :3

The horns look fantastic and I just love how you added the hair...your hair/manes ALWAYS look so awesome. *haha*
And then there're those giant wings...I like how they're...uuh...hold. Their pose adds something to the atmosphere...if they'd be completely open it wouldn't look as calm as it looks now. I...can't describe what I mean, I just think the way they look like is perfect for this picture. XD

Oh man, I used to REALLY hate painting hair and stuff but I think I'm finally learning to enjoy it, LOL! I'm really glad you like the wings, though! <3 For the longest time, I've been trying out so many different methods of drawing/colouring feathered wings...I never could get anything looking right! XD But I think I've FINALLY got something here! 8D

This is AMAZING. I'm such a closet fan of your BG-pictures Iknowthissurprisesyou. I LOVE the random fires! At first I thought they were like those teeny lights that come off of houses and stuff, but they're FIRES! Are they bad fires or just, like, camp fires?
The LIGHTING is GORGEOUS. How on EARTH did you make a BLACK CHARACTER stand out at NIGHT? I love the way the light bounces off of those HORNS and WOW THE REDS AND ORANGES ON THE WINGS. I love how subtle and soft they are! And the pose is LOVELY. <333

They're supposed to be campfires but they look like forest fires. >_>; Because I'm pretty sure you wouldn't see campfires in such dense forest. 8D; The commissioner said that they wanted the fires visable though...soum OH WELL? XDDD

er... tojo-the-thief on FA ... primarily a porn artist who occassionally does clean pictures. She did a picture of that same character

Um? WOWWEE! um speechless best describes my view of this yer awesome piece of artwork! Just so much awesomeness! Words would fail to describe it. Sorry meant to comment on it soon but kept forgetting!My bad! Its amazing!You just keep getting more awesome with every piece of art you do! Her skill doth grow! Such a beautiful landscape and so many awesome colors blended so nicely! I wonder how she would do if she tried another medium such as oil painting? Most likely think she would kick butt on that as well!

Oh, oils wouldn't work for me. When I paint, I always put layers on so thick - if I used oils, it would take months to dry! |D; I do use a lot of other mediums though, besides digital! c:

Oh I don't know bout that. Yer such a talented artist that I sure you could learn to work wit them. It might create some cool effect! Actually not so much, my uncles and artist and he did some painting years ago for me mum using oils and a pallet knife and just layered the stuff on the canvas in thick daubs one atop the other and it dried in about a day. in fact with oils layering is the most common technique. You start by choosing the color you wish for the base and then build on top of it. Just give it a try, you might find you really enjoy it. Yes yes you do! And a fine job of it indeed!Such a artist you are!

That's really weird for oils. Oils always take AT LEAST a week to dry - the usual time is more like a month. I honestly think I'll pass. |D They're really expensive too, and I already have my other paints to work with. I'll stick to my acrylics and watercolours. XD;

yup. sure nuff they do. Oh durns! Yes that they are had to buy some for my arts class in college years ago and they were one of the more expensive items on the list. that ya do and yeah I keep forgetting there are better alternatives that dry quicker! And boy do you do awesome things with them!
