This was m project for the last two days, mostly starting as an experiment with light, color, shadow and a new style that finds itself wedged between the cartoon realm and the realm of realism.This picture goes out to my deaaaar DEAR friend Trish . supposed to be a mountain lion..but yuss the ears and such are more lionish but I think thats because I was trying to model her after my friend's chara design.

Hmm, the only problem I notice about this piece is that she looks very lion-ish. She is supposed to be a cougar right? Cougars have smaller, more narrow nose compared to lions - giving them a look similar to domestic cats. :3

This is just so wonderful! I really like that cartoon/realism style. The colours are great too, and the fur on the chest looks very realistic - well done! And the eyes are excellent - that's what captured my eye in this.

Even if I could draw something like that (which I can't, probably for another several years), it would take me fifty layers of Photoshopping to get it near as good. Awesome picture! For some reason, I expect her to be telepathic/kinetic or to possess some other form of superfeline power.
