A gift forI noticed her character and for some reason it just inspired me so I just had to draw it. I hope you like it
For that matter it was a good random excuse to draw a tiger..albeit in this case its not exactly a traditional tiger XD..but I hope it turned out ok just the same. I was going to do more work on it, but several folks suggested I stop where I did lest I kill it with toooo much detail. The tiger is sorta stylized in my fashion, ie more of a toony feel to the ears which still requires some refinement. If this should get posted as a print, do not be surprised if there is some more work done to it before it goes into prints.

The water effects are very soothing and the surprised look in her eyes is perfect. ^^ Love the textures of the fur, as usual, and the darker background makes the contrast of her fur more striking, but not too much so. Very peaceful image.

You what I would really recommend to you? You would love the book Tomorrow's Sphinx, by Clare Bell, which is an amazing fantasy-genre novel about a cheetah whose coat isn't the normal fawn-colored with black spots: she's solid, shiny black with golden tearlines, gold-edged ears, and a gold-tipped tail. It's an amazing book. I'd love to see you paint her.

ironic, I was intending to do a gift picture for Kenket of her black cheetah with golden tearlines and gold tail tip, I wonder if thats what inspired that particular chara o_o;. As a matter of fact, in the book, the black cheetah is named Kichebo, and her mother is named Kenket.

I just had to comment on this. It's too perfect not to... like the majority of your art. I love the fur, the eyes, the expression and pose amid the water, the texture of the fur... everything. It's gorgeous.
