Description and here is the recipe for this simple abstraction:

created in c4d
modified and rendered in 3ds
brushed in ps
some salt and pepper
and a little bit of heartache.

simple as that.

I'm usually not much into Abstract 3D works, but every once in a while I find an exceptional one.

This is one of them.
How long did it take you to render this?

A somewhat generic render, though, nice brushing and such. Nice color scheme.

I would give you a weird concept, too much pepper and it caused a sneeze. Reminds me of that instant explosion of a sneeze. I did not think of it until I saw the mention of pepper in your description. That brought out the idea of cartoons where pepper is blown into the face and a thunderous sneeze erupts.

Wow. This is an excellent piece of work! In my opinion, the brushing is just fantastic; it looks like you spent a lot of time on it and it looks very professional. The render is also great; I could seriously learn a lot from you. I'm a novice when it comes to 3D/abstract, but I'm learning more every day. It's artists like you that give me great inspiration.

Definitely going in my favorites. So beautiful!

bakka In reply to biggbuckz [2004-10-28 05:36:00 +0000 UTC]

yeah it would make a nice print wont it? but i dont know this whole basic print program confuses me, do you kno how to use it? i mean basic prints are limited to a certain size image right? and if the image is larget it gets clipped or something? i dont know how to use it

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

biggbuckz In reply to bakka [2004-10-29 14:59:05 +0000 UTC]

never done anything with prints, so i don't know much about it myself. I'm pretty sure there's a wide enough variety of sizes to be ok, and instead of cropping and think there would just be white space on the print on either side. :shrugs:

nice one looks really good so
but u used a title of a good friend of mine it would be good if u would notice her on your deviation or asked for persmission for it..I read about "a friend told u about it" but I don't think so really...well just talk to her pls in a gentle way and u both will find a middle..

niko.

bakka In reply to ageai [2004-10-27 10:23:54 +0000 UTC]

you dont think so really? what are you implying? that i deliberetly used her name? why would i want to do that? . its not like i stole her art or whatever i could have easily chosen any other name its not like i was desperate for this name or anything. and its also not the coolest name in the world or anything. i really dont appreciate this kind of accusation.
but i did note her. and if she objects i will rename it ASAP i dont have the slightest problem with that.

MasterAngel In reply to bakka [2004-10-27 15:49:34 +0000 UTC]

eh? is the name copyrighted to her or something? i dont get the point of her asking you to ask for 'permission' for what i understand, arumdamour is a french poet [might have to check on that, for im not sure]? its not like she invented the name or something... so why ask for a permission? you could have used 'neruda' or 'van gogh' for all we care and no one would make a big deal or complain about it

anyway, great piece sir its very elegant yet intimidating.

well if its my best friend I care..but I see u make a big deal about it..so why do u care?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MasterAngel In reply to ageai [2004-10-27 16:43:43 +0000 UTC]

hmm the question is.. did she come up with that name that you want sir bakka to ask for permission?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ageai In reply to MasterAngel [2004-10-27 16:52:58 +0000 UTC]

ask her not me...and yes she is a french poet

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MasterAngel In reply to ageai [2004-10-27 16:58:16 +0000 UTC]

go to google, search for 'arumdamour' you'll see quite a few links that has her on it. unless she's the same person in all those links [and yes, her deviantart account will show up in there too], then i rest my case. otherwise, my point is, if she does not own the name, nor the creator of it, why would you have someone ask for her permission?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arumdamour In reply to MasterAngel [2004-10-28 02:06:25 +0000 UTC]

Allow me to clarify a few things:

- Arumdamour as 'artist' photographer and 'poet' (both in French and English) refers to one and same person: me.

- Although I have 'created' that name, I do not own it.
It is my understanding that there is no such thing as a Copyright for a name, be it genuine or created. However it is and can be considered as a Trade Mark.

In this case, my artist name Arumdamour is my Trade Mark. My copyrighted work, in photography and poetry, is attached/linked/reserved/created/represe nted by that name.

Deviant *bakka has graciously offered to change the title of this submission should I wish so and I am gratefully accepting it.

Regardless of the title, it's a beautiful work and for that it deserves a fav.

This note has one and only purpose: end this 'issue', with respect for all.
