Description
This is Dalioc, the main character of the story that involves the recent deer-girl I submitted.
The splattery effect behind him is actually supposed to kind of represent caribou antlers which is his spirit animal. Twas a pencil sketch that I spruced up a little. Critiques are welcome.

I dig the sketchy style of the pencil, maybe a little more of the shadowing from his arm/shoulder carried onto his back/torso? It looks kinda flat otherwise. Oh, and if you changed his hair color, black maybe, it would pop out from the line of red. As it is, it can be hard to see where the hair ends and the background line begins.
Great work though, keep it up!

The bit you mentioned about the hair got me to thinking and I totally noticed that it looks like the antler area seems as if it's just a weird extension of the hair. Thank you!

But the way it is offset bugs me, I'd like to see the canvas either wider or have the distance between the horn and the edge be the same as the distance from the face to the side.
