Description
Here is my most recent self-portrait, with cave paintings. Its genesis came with my desire to show people that if they have tattoos, the designs should be integrated into a graceful whole instead of one plunked here and one plunked there. As the base drawing developed, I included various images to which I have a strong connection including the "goddess" figures from prehistory, Anubis, and cave paintings. In the background is an image from Pu'u'O'o on Kilauea, Hawai'i: this vent is no longer there, having been consumed recently by a lava lake.Related content

I really like this piece; I studied Paleolithic and Neolithic art the semester, and of course the horses of Lascaux were my favorite subjects.

Hello, I'm afraid I'm not in the U.S but in the U.K instead, so I shant be at Faerie Con. But a little piece of me will, in Faerie magazine, I've taken out an advert! So there will be a small piece of me on the Faerie Magazine stall!! Wish I could go...one day *sighs*
