Description
All of the pieces set up on a wooden chessboard. The blue/red squares are selections ofc.( Wood textures from vyonyx.com )

Although aren't the letters usually written in lowercase? e4 - e5, etc.? Kf3?

I love this design! I can't help feeling you would get confused about what piece was what when they moved out of the starting position though! Although they are all quite distinctive so I guess you would get used to it. I particularly like the way the squids are pointed like bishops and both colour knights.

You do get used to the shape of the pieces, I've played one game with it and didn't have much trouble. Ofc I've been looking at them for a looong time
