Description     Ever lay or sit reminiscing on how you used to be more social, creative, outgoing, etc. and tear up how you now feel hollow not having the drive to do much of anything except staying within your bubble? Sachiko had that struggle in her 200+ years of life and it came on early when she became an adult at 18 into nearing the first half century of her life.

In the wake of Red Year, her home of and indeed the home for many Dunmer in Morrowind was leveled by the eruption of Red Mountain in 4E 05 leaving the land's central island of Vvardenfell uninhabitable. Survivors of the eruption would seek refuge in the neighboring countries of Skyrim and Cyrodiil, often settling in cities close to the borders like Windhelm or Cheydinhal respectively. Sachiko and her father, Sulis, settled in the latter. While glad that her father and her were alive, the great loss of her homeland and all within struck hard. Family, loved ones, friends, sights, wonders, and passions. Sachiko felt heavy with guilt that she couldn't save those whom she loved, she thought she could, she was a young prodigy with magic, she felt she had to use her skills to save the day lest be she seen as selfish. The belief that she was to blame for the deaths of others in her hometown during the eruption ran strong, she felt she couldn't show her face and that she wasn't fit for her staff and circlet. The Mages guild was disbanded due to a resentment towards magic since the Oblivion Crisis and mages were looked upon with suspicious gazes. So why even continue the study when she would be met with ridicule or even aggression? Sulis could only do the best he could in giving her comfort and support, he wishes he could pull her out of her dark place but he also knew that's something that his daughter would ultimately have to do by herself. He could only lead her to water, it's her choice to drink.
    ...and eventually, she drank.

Another vent/story-relevant piece in the same vibe as the piece on Daryse's Shadow. My state for the past two weeks really matches Sachiko's in this piece and I say that without exaggeration. I've already said plenty on my current state in my last status and through chatting with friends on Discord to the degree it feels like I'm asking for pity at this point yet I can't bear to keep it to myself either. I thank those who listen and converse with me despite that kind of stuff being the only thing I've talked about lately.

    Nonetheless, enjoy and stay hydrated.
