Description
Well, not really a student.

When Dick was 8, his parents were murdered by the man called Zucco.
He got adopted by Bruce Wayne a while after that.
And then, when he was 11 years old, he got a letter.
And it turns out there are wizards in the world? What the heck? Why didn't he know?
When he went to talk to Bruce about it though, turns out the man is a wizard too. Along with Alfred.
Maybe that's how the mansion stayed clean always. There obviously must have been magic involved, right?
(Turns out that no. You can't use magic outside of the school. Alfred is just that awesome that he can keep the entire place clean without magic or superpowers or something)
And then suddenly Alfred takes him shopping and he has new clothes and a hat and gloves and a broom and books and a cauldron and a wand! And even an owl that he calls Robin, much to Bruce's amusement.
Everything happens so fast after that.
Walking through the wall to get to a magic peron. Getting to Hogwart. Being selected to Slytherin (He sat next to this one blond girl. She was two years older than him, but she seemed really...well...not really nice per se. But she was cool. Her name was Artemis).
The freaking dinner. He never saw so much food in one place. And also ghosts.
There were ghosts.
How awesome is that!
The ghost that talked to them was also a Slytherin and he was really scary. He told them tales of his work in the school.
And then it was time to go to bed.
Dick thought that was one of his favourite days.
The next morning though? Not so great.
He got lost. Like, actually, very lost.
The stairs moved without warning, and he was suddenly at some empty side of the school, and there was no one there.
He won't admit he was scared.
'Hey! Are you lost?' He heard behind him, and couldn't hold back his relieved smile. When he turned around though, he didn't see another student, like he hoped. Well, not a living one at least.
Boy was pale blue, and Dick could see the corridor behind him. Through him. The guy literally was semi transparent.
By the robe he wore, one could deduce he used to be a Ravenclaw.
What was weird about him, were the lightning like scars. They could be seen on every piece of his skin that wasn't covered and they were a lighter blue than the rest of him.
The ghost introduced himself as Wally and was do dorky and was acting so friendly that Dick forgot to be scared.
Wally quickly helped Dick to find his classroom and the teacher wasn't angry with him for being late. thankfully.
Dick found himself spending more and more time with Wally, who in turn introduced him to 'some of the coolest students'
Like Megan and Conner from Hufflepuff, and Kaldur from Gryffindor, and oh you already know Artemis? Great! She's an ass but she can be nice when she wants too.
And Wally told him stories from when he was still alive, like 20 years back or so. How he was the best seeker in Quidditch and no one managed to beat his record even to this day. ('Cool!...What's Quidditch?' '...Don't worry, you'll love it!)
Turns out Wally helps out in the game even now. He sits at one of the towers when it's raining and he catches lightning out of the air, before it can hit one of the players. He's the first one to ever do that, and he even got a medal for it.
'I am known as the fastest ghost aliv-...well...not really alive, but you get the point!'
When asked about his death, he just replied that it was something that didn't involve magic, and he died at home. He prefers to brag about his quidditch days.
And Dick is surprized that the year passed so quickly and he can't wait for the holidays to be over, so he can be here again.
He has 5 friends now, (even though one is dead, but no one seems to pay attention to that little detail) and he's a wizard.
Life can't really get any better than that.

I'm kind of happy how Wally looks in the picture. Still not satisfied with Dick.
