I didn't do anything to this picture... I mean - that lighting on the door has nothing to do with me. It's just the reflections of the sun through the window from the linoleum floor. I got Monkey to go over to the door like that by reflecting light off the camera screen [he chases it] and then quickly snapping a photo. I had to use fast shutterspeed in order to pick up the lights well, so it came out real dark. But I think it looks good that way...Related content

Oh my God this is AMAZING. I am such a freak about black cats. I love them SO MUCH. This picture astounds me. To think that none of this was digitally manipulated is awesome. The shadow in front of your cat looks great. It looks like a wierd elongated shadow that's comming from the cat, even though the real cat shadow is on the wall. Such a pretty cat too.

The cats pose looks really cool, it actually looks like he is trying to pose and look cool for you to take a picture of him
Oh, and the lighting is amazing. It's not too dark at all.

Azz! I love it! The shift of shadow and contrast of the image is beautiful. Your feline friends are so photogenic. Mine love chasing little lights too, and Ash will actually chase shadows. This is really beautiful. It has a nice mood to it. You're using what kind of camera these days? A Canon Powershot? How much did it run you?

Yah, it's a Canon Powershot S70. I don't remember how much it cost, though... Somewhere around $500, I think?
