Well Muppet is extremely playful, curious and naughty always. So I thought this would be a very suiting concept for him. Also especially because until just a few weeks ago, the only thing he ever wanted to drink was milk. The water stood at his place until it more or less disappeared by itself. The result of that was him always stealing milk from our cups (Maybe this sounds odd, but the reason he only wanted milk, was because where he was raised, until we took him, there they only gave the kittens milk).
Although, he's generally crazy He loves, LOVES vanilla. Whether it's a dessert, or a cake, or a cookie with vanilla.. Anything that has it, he tries his best to get. Last night, we sat in the sofa watching some serie while having dessert.. I spoke to my boyfriend for a few, and took my eye off Muppet and the serie, and all of a sudden he just pawed the spoon so hard that all dessert came off it. Of course, he ate it
So very happy to hear you like this shot, though : D Planning on retaking it as soon as I get my new camera.

We have had seven cats in our lives, and three of them are still with us today. All of them are/were very special personalities, as is your Muppet.
Today, when I got home from work, Gris-Gris was greeting me right away, but Felix was nowhere to be seen, and I was worried sick that something happened to him, but luckily he came back home half an hour later, very pleased with himself.
Do you let your cats roam outside? This is always the question for us, do we let them out and be happy cats and risk losing them, or do we lock them up and keep them safe, but make their lives miserable...

It's wonderful to hear that 3 of them are still with you How old are they by now? And you should tell me some more about their personalities!
Aw, it's so sweet when your animals comes and greet you when you arrive home. Nothing like a heartwarming greeting from your beloved pets
As for whether we let our pets out.. The adult cat we have, isn't originally ours as you know. Due to that, he's used to being outside. But he's an amazing cat. He can jump about 2 meter high, so he comes and goes through an open window here. Although, he also has to climb a wooden flower thing of ~2 meter to come to our floor.
We've recently started preparing Muppet for being outside. At first, we have walked him in a leash in the area around the apartment. That worked very well, but he was very frightened in the start. Slowly, he adjusted to it, and we took him being outside a step further. We walked him in the leash to 2 fields we have very close to the apartment, and let him lose there for the first time. He had a lot of fun, digging in dirt on the field, hunting ducks at the water and so on. Another few times we took him to a mountain bike area just as the fields. Which was perfect! We threw small bolls on the piles of dirt the mountain bikes use, so the boll bounces, and Muppet could run like crazy to catch them.
He stayed really close to us for the entire time. Sometimes went to explore slightly, but he always came back and never went out of sight.
As that went well, during the first snow we let him lose around the apartment for the first time. He was too caught up in the moment to want to go back with us inside. So we had to chase him around for a while. The second time went better, but we gave up trying to chase him, and figured that the best way for him to learn he should come inside would be to leave him. So we left him outside for half an hour. It was freezing, and he still hadn't had his evening food. So by the time we came back for him, he was very eager to come with us inside. Yesterday everything went flawless! So I'm having faith in him.
We live in a really good neighbourhood, very cat friendly. So we are deciding to let him go outside, and him being outside doesn't worry me. The only thing that does worry me a bit, is that I ain't sure how he's gonna be with going in to other peoples places. On this floor (We have this long walk/balcony where everyone enter their apartments from). People have their doors open (because they also have animals).. and only a few days ago Muppet tried to go inside do a neighbor. I'm hoping it's a kitten thing. Being too curious and innocent to realise it might not be a good idea.
How are you doing with your cats?
And sorry for this long wall of text

Hi Ida, no need to be sorry for the long text, I loved to hear the story of your cats.
Our cats are Romy (for Romy Schneider) 12 years old, Gris-Gris, another female almost 3 years old, and Felix 2 years. Romy and Felix are the sweetest cats you can imagine, Romy is a little stand-offish sometimes, and she doesn't have a life plan. We had another cat until last year whom she became friends with, but it took a long time. Right now, she is still adjusting to the fact that Gris-Gris is a new resident, the problem is that Gris-Gris play-attacks her sometimes, and she doesn't like it at all, so she has pretty much retreated into one room of our house, when up until Gris-Gris arrived, she considered all of the house and our yard as her territory. Well, we hope she's coming around and realizes that Gris-Gris does mean no harm.
Felix is also very sweet, and he loves the great outdoors. We picked him up from the local animal shelter along with Gris-Gris, and although they didn't know each other, they bonded from day one. It's a joy to watch. Gris-Gris is the smallest of the lot, and she has the biggest self-confidence, she is the most curious cat I have ever seen, and I hope it won't kill her. But then again, I'm quite confident because she's very careful around cars and other dangerous things. She likes to sleep on my pillow, and she normally stays there when I'm going to sleep. It's bliss.
Felix, on the other hand, is not so much interested in being petted, only when he's outside, then he throws himself in front of you, and wants his belly scratched. He's pretty adventurous in terms of climbing trees, and he's doing a much better job at that by now. Shortly after we got him, I almost would have called the fire department to rescue him from one of the big live oaks in front of our house, because he could hardly find his way back down. But now, it seems to be a piece of cake. I think I could take Felix on a walk through the neighborhood, without a leash, maybe I'll try that one day.
Last year, we lost a cat to a snake and a long time ago, when we still lived in Los Angeles, we lost a cat to a coyote. I wouldn't wish that for anyone. So that's why we are continuously ambivalent about letting them out. But as I said last time, letting them out keeps them happier. What helps is that we are certain they know where their home is. And, as you said about your cat, we have to have a little faith in their abilities and resilience ...

I actually think it is the perfect shot. It says he is thinking about breaking the rules! Just look at his expression....guilty and defiant but also a little worried. I love it!!!
