I have been drawing and painting since I was about 8 years old. My grandma was a watercolor artist, but my specialty was drawing and painting in acrylics. In the past few years I have worked in color pencil and digital art. I started on Adobe Photoshop, but now I am working in Illustrator and Corel too.I'm member of:

Thanks. I see you do Manga with Copics. My daughter bought some and then never really kept up with it. She mainly does pencil drawings and tends more toward realism like I do.

Thank you! I love using COPIC, as there are many different techniques you can use with them to make things interesting. I hope she didn't buy a lot of them, as they can be pretty expensive.
There are a lot of artists on here that use COPIC as well, but to do realism. *PMSingTiger does great realistic animal works, as does *Novawuff

Actually she did buy quite a few, plus Prismacolor Markers. Hopefully she will still get good use of them.

Ah I see. Well, one of the good things about those markers is resale value! If she doesn't get use out of them, or chooses not to use them anymore, then she can always sell them on sites like ebay for a pretty good return! But hopefully she will use them. Is she on deviantART? One of the best places to get inspired
