It's really cool. I originally mused about something like this, except completely made out of fences (even the roof) so no mobs can get in. It actually looks really good, better than my 100% fence house >.>

Fascinating design, I've never seen it (that I remember). If you combine it with wooden plank blocks (in the door/entrance area perhaps), you might get a more aesthetically pleasing look. I also like the open design. If you try this again, please think of adding wooden planks as an important part, even glass if you want. Thanks!
