This is for the winner of my Pokemon Guessing Contest, ~raincloudriot . The Pokemon Clues were as follows:

So here are the clues:
It is in the first generation
Not only is it common, but its one of the most popular Pokemon in the series.
Its just over 1 foot tall
And last clue, its based off a common Japanese legend who's statues are often used as charms in restaurants and shops to bring customers fortune and good luck.

~raincloudriot was able to guess that the Pokemon was Meowth!!! Good job!

For her sketch commission, she asked me to do a very emotional picture of her with her kitty Angel, who has passed away. As most of you know, I have recently lost my beloved pet hamster, so I really felt for the pain that ~raincloudriot 's feeling. I wanted to depict a moment she and Angel would have shared in his lifetime. A tender one where she holds him, and by just that one action, he brightens her entire day. I also wanted to depict the love that a someone and their pet can have for each other.
In a way, this helped me with my grieving process. Even though both Angel and Winnie are gone, those simple memories that we shared with them, and the love that we had for them, makes it all worth it in the end. We'll always have those memories, and no matter what happens, no one or nothing can take that away from us.
So rest in Peace to Angel. He will always be remembered and loved.
