This is a drawing I started when my tablet pen was lost. It's done entirely from prismacolored pencils.Inspiration for the picture comes from this:

I wouldn't have even finished this it if my mother didn't insist.
She said she loved it and to finish it for her. The early stages of it were really frustrating. I'm so happy I have a mom that supports me and my art and encourages me to keep on drawing. So this is dedicated to her.
I actually really like the end result. I think it's one of the best things I've drawn. And I tried to include the background again. I'm really pushing myself!
(It was one of my new years resolutions after all!

This is a really neat picture and I'm glad your mother encouraged you to do it! Sometimes it's hard to switch between mediums if you're not used to it but I think end results are usually rewarding - you end up with a pretty good picture, learn something new and gain more skills.

Very nice work. Your ability really shows with the colored pencils. And the layers are also really well done. Favorite thing on this is her hair. It has such good use of the field of soft violets/reds. So good.
