I know others noticed the coincidence, so I finally decided to make one of them side by side!Sometimes you wonder if they inspired each other. BIG coincidence.
...Because you can never have enough Nintendo or Disney.
EDIT: If they look too similar, that's because I did that deliberately (sorry guys! ). I tried to draw the girls in a common art style, so Rosalina has a more 'animated' feel to her, and Elsa looks less 'modern Disney' movie form and more 'Nintendo-ish'. I also tampered with their sizes and body frames a bit.

Not trying to critique, but Rosie's 7'06" if you measure her model from Galaxy. Aside from that, beautiful drawing.

I drew Rosalina based on her SSB design, so of course she looks taller than Galaxy's design.
And if were talking actual measurements, then Elsa would be much taller than and thinner than Rosalina, which I didn't do.

While Rosalina came before Elsa, I will admit that you can't rule out the theory someone at Disney was playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 and was inspired
