Finally... I got around to drawing Daisy!I'm sure that if Daisy were in front of me right now, she'd be beating me to a pulp for taking so long to draw her.
I know Daisy has gotten a lot of backlash lately, but... you know what? I like her.
COME. AT. ME.
While Rosalina has a calm "i can do what ever i want" persona, which I like, I also like Daisy's tomboyish attitude that Nintendo seems to give her. Operative word: SEEMS.
But don't get me wrong, her appearance in Mario Kart Double Dash was just annoying. I mean "Hi, I'm Daisy. Hi, I'm Daisy." Every time you come first with her, she says that. EVERY FREAKING TIME. As if it wasn't clear enough what her name was back in the selection screen. Like we'd forget what her name was every five minutes. What the hell were they thinking back at Nintendo. You'd think that that give her something more clever to say as a victory praise, like Oh I don't know "WE WON", but nooooooo, they had to destroy her image further wit
I don't care. She's awesome, I'm awesome. PEACE.

Daisy is awesome regardless indeed, it's easy to have a biased hatred over a silly quote that people find "annoying" yet there's many characters who have annoying traits yet seems to be hardly much characters didn't get the biased hate much than Daisy does, well all I can say is blame the folks in Nintendo for her cause not the character.
Daisy needs to be in main games also, this has been started by a Daisy user as this is her only chance for main games if interested in signing

Okay, I don't see why people find "Hi I'm Daisy!" annoying. I mean no one had a problem with Jumpman saying "It's a me, Mario!", which is the same thing, or Peach saying "Oh, did I win?" or Diddy saying "I'm Diddy, hoo hoo!" There's also Bowser Junior's 4th place or lower bawling from the same game which makes "Hi I'm Daisy!", 'eck anything Daisy says no matter how annoying, sound like Peach Beach's music and every Rainbow Road music by comparison.
Though the only lines I don't like from Daisy are when she cries in Mario Kart Eight and Mario Tennis Ultra Smash since it sounds so fake, like Deanna wasn't even trying.

Let me see if I can answer this with a bit of perspective. MY perspective anyway.
When Daisy appeared in Double Dash, she had a image remake; a modern appearance and a different voice from previous games. It is this 'new' voice that makes the "Hi, I'm Daisy" comment in Double Dash memorable. Couple that with the fact that she says it every time she wins.
First she says "Yeeeehaw", and then "Hi, I'm Daisy!"
The more you use her and come first with her, it makes her, unfortunately, look stupider and more annoying. The other characters you mentioned may say things that are just as silly, but at least in context, they all make sense. Daisy's "Hi, I'm Daisy" comment, however, makes little sense when she says it.
Would you yell for joy, and then immediately announce what your name is every time you win a race? Nobody would.

I took everything you said into account, and it all makes sense.
However, I have tried splitting the 3 words apart and hear them within a second one before the other and the first two sounded more like "I am" than "Hi I'm".
Though it might make her look stupid and/or annoying, I still love the quote nonetheless, though I am one of the few who do.
And to be honest about whether or not I would do the same thing upon winning, no.
It's odd how people remember Daisy for quotes like "I am Daisy!", but not for sending Bowser blasting off again in Mario Party Three. I never played that, but I saw it on some Let's Plays.
And in all honesty, Mario Kart Double Dash was where I found out that Daisy is a princess (I first met her in Mario Tennis 64) and I was all "I didn't know Daisy was a princess!" and I did play as her sometimes back then, but even though I didn't know why Daisy used that certain quote, it never annoyed me.

Yeah, despite her being annoying, I still don't mind her.
It's unfortunate that Daisy has to have this stigma attached to her when then there are even more annoying characters (like Bowser Jr and Baby Mario), when she has a distinct personality and is capable of much more.
Lol, I remember her slapping away Bowser with one swing too.
But all in all, I still think Daisy is a great character.
