I have a problem guys, I keep wanting to join groups. Help me I have an addiction. XDDD
But anyway, I wanted to try and join this group since it seems really cool, especially with the Celestially Destined Partner. c: Here's hoping I get in~!

Least Favorite Type: Fairy - "I don't understand why everyone thinks they're so "uber, super-special-awesome", or stuff. Sure, they are cute, I'll give them that. But, I feel like they're just getting overly hype over them, much like when Dragon-types were seen as hot shit. I could get used to one if I had one, though. It'd probably take a while though..."

Personality: Despite appearances, Liselle is actually a rather social and peppy kind of girl. She can even be borderline hyper at times as well as chatty, if you get her excited and in the right mood. She can be rather rash in her decisions, as she would rather go about something head on than play it safe most of the time. However, if she is told to calm down a bit, she will try to relax a bit and try to think things through to the best of her ability. Liselle enjoys meeting new people very much, and it usually doesn't matter who you are, she'll simply go up to you and say hi. But, before she does that, she has a tendency to stare at people first to get a good feel for them and their appearance and actions. Liselle says it's to help her remember folks, since she's not good at remembering names but she can easily remember and pull out faces and a person's appearance on the spot. But it doesn't help that she has a thousand-year blank stare when she does stare at you. In fact, it creeps some people off at times, or at least makes them uncomfortable. But right after she's done, she'll put out her hand and greet you with a bright, cheerful smile. Liselle also has a special talent, but it was given to her in a strange way and wasn't innate or happened at the very beginning of her life. (Further mentioned in History)

History: Back when Liselle was younger she was known as that quiet child who hid behind her parents legs and mumbled out hellos. The young girl was timid, shy, and not entirely social with other people. She'd sit on the swing set by herself while all the other kids ran and played together, or if the swings were taken, she'd sit underneath a tree and hide from the rest of the world. And there was no real explanation to why she did this. She was just painfully shy. Simple as that.
However, she did like to play games and what not. But what she'd simply do was play by herself. She'd play cards by herself, play tea party or dress up by herself, and even play ball alone by bouncing and throwing the ball on the nearby fence separating her house with the abandoned one next door. Her parents, of course, were very concerned with their daughter's behavior. Liselle was all alone and seemed lonely. And she WAS lonely. But she just dealt with it on her own and didn't bother socializing with others. It was too scary to her.

But strangely enough, what wasn't scary to the young Liselle was the abandoned house next door to her. In fact, she felt herself intrigued with the tales that surrounded it. She'd heard various stories about the house, with multiple scary, horrific, or odd stories as to why it was abandoned. Most people stayed away from that big, old house as most were scared or intimidated by it. Liselle wasn't however. So, the day when her ball was thrown too high and hard then flew over the fence blocking her from the abandoned house and her home, she had no trouble going over next door to get it.
But when she went in the weedy yard that desperately needed a trim, she found that the ball wasn't in the yard. But as she looked for her toy, she saw an open window and climbed through it. Liselle had come to the conclusion that her ball must have bounced through the wide open window and rolled inside. Even though this didn't seem like a very probable outcome, she was only 10, so she simply thought it was the case and that was that.

When Liselle climbed inside the empty home, she could see that despite it being dusty, it was quite lovely inside. It gave off an old, mysterious beauty that she could not yet even explain at that age. But it was also rather big compared to the little girl.
She looked around on the first floor for her ball, and eventually found it near the stairs that led to upper floor. The purple bouncy ball was right there, waiting just for her! She ran to the ball and picked it up, happy that she had found her toy. But then she thought she had heard something coming from upstairs. Liselle looked up the tall staircase and began to climb up. But just as she got there halfway, she heard a voice calling her name from outside. It sounded like her mother, her tone of voice obviously worried and yelling out for Liselle to come out of hiding where ever she was.

The girl immediately turned and began to rush down the stairs to go out of the house to see her mother, but soon tripped over her own two feet and tumbled down the stairs. When she finally came to the last step, Liselle had cracked her head on it, causing her pain and disorientation. Before she blacked out, she could hear a soft voice saying,
"Don't worry, child. I will help you...."

Liselle woke up to find herself back at home and in her room, opening her eyes to see the relieved and worried expressions on her mother and father's face. At first, they held her hands and kissed all over her face, trying to be careful with her, as she wound up having a small concussion. But soon after, they were scolding their daughter, asking her what she was thinking of going into that "bad, dangerous house".
Liselle merely responded, "I wanted to get my ball...." But then as if she did a full 180 in her personality and demeanor, she added in a chipper voice,
"I got it back though, so it's okay! I'll be sure to play it with the other kids too to make you happy." She smiled.
Her parents, dumbfounded and confused at their daughter's answer and drastically different behavior, didn't know how to answer.

Once her head had healed completely, Liselle went back to school and seemed to be a whole new person. She was social and outgoing all of a sudden and wanted to play with all the kids on the playground. She also seemed to be stepping up to other people's Pokemon (which she had never done before). And the minute she started that, she seemed even more happy than before. But that was because of her secret: Liselle now understood Pokemon speech. Everything they said, was in complete, understandable, human English. See, it was because of that bump on her head (which has left a scar for those to see if they search through her wild hair) back then at the abandoned house that changed her completely. That bump made her completely messed up in her head in the sense that she was no longer was afraid or shy. It scrambled up her brain, but she seemed to just wanna tackle things head on now, and enjoy life! However, with her new personality came a new gift. And that was the gift to hear Pokemon speak. At first, it was kind of surprising to her, and had earned her some odd looks when she asked the Pokemon's trainer, "How did you teach them to talk human?" But soon enough, she figured out she had a new ability. And it was just that. Liselle didn't think of herself as special or anything like that because of it, but she just viewed it as a way to understand Pokemon's feelings better as well as make better friends with them. Cause yayyyy, friends~! But for some odd reason, along with this, she grew to like Ghost-Pokemon a whole lot. She doesn't even know why herself. But whenever someone asks she says, "Iunno, I just feel safe with them I guess."

As the years went by and Liselle got older, she found more of an interest in Pokemon and wanted to become a Pokemon Trainer. She also considered being a Pokemon Coordinator, and still has some interest in it, due to seeing contests on the televison. Her parents could see her growing fascination and decided to show her a brochure about the Borealis Region. Liselle was immediately intrigued. Especially with this talk about a "celestially destined partner". That meant she could have a partner that would be her best friend forever and ever, right? That sounded like a plan~! So, Liselle immediately packed her belongings and headed on the next ferry to Situla Town in the Borealis Region to start her journey....

Despite having this gift of hearing Pokemon speak, it has a side effect. Liselle tends to get headaches if she listens in for too long. She technically can tune it out and hear only Pokemon speech as Pokemon speech (which she learned to do after a while and usually does this anyway), but it takes a lot of focus for her to tune back in.

Liselle LOOOOOOOOOOOVES the color purple~! It's one of her favorite colors, and she thinks it looks really good on her.
Because of her long and wild hair, Liselle tends to keep it up in a ponytail and call it a day. She does brush and comb it out, but it'll just get a wavy and wild again as the day goes on. She's constantly blowing or tucking her bang out of her face when she talks though. She thinks it's a little annoying, but loves her colored bang and her long hair too much to wanna cut it. Without the tie, her hair is down to her butt. c;

Liselle has tons and tons of bows and clip-on bows for her hair. She loves collecting different ones and wearing a different one each day. However, the one she loves the best is the purple clip-on bow with the skull (as depicted in the app). An odd choice, yes, but it's her favorite colooooooor~

Liselle likes all Pokemon fairly, and isn't entirely too picky with what comes her way. She thinks of all Pokemon as equal and thinks they all have a chance at being great, whether they're a cute, little Pichu or a big, mighty Steelix. She also thinks that there is no Pokemon that is too scary/too ugly/too cute/too weak/too whatever to be loved by someone. She loves Ghost-types the most, of course, but doesn't feel that they are any better or any worse than any other Pokemon. However, despite Fairy-types being her least favorite, she doesn't dislike or hate them. In fact, she sees their appeal in a way. But what she doesn't like is how they're being seen as the new "Dragon-type", in terms of how many people really like them and how many people use them or use Fairy-type moves. She sees it as unfair to other Pokemon and other types.

Yes, Liselle is a bit more plump than most girls, but please PLEASE don't make fun of her for it. You may really hurt her feelings and make her sad, or even worse, make her mad and wanna hit you. And trust me, she's not bad at hitting people and can really do some damage with a nice knuckle sandwich in the mouth. c:

Chocolate anything is one of her favorite treats to have. If you have chocolate anything and give her some, you're her new best friend.

Artemis (or Arty as Liselle nicknames him at times), is quite an odd little Misdreavus. And it's not just because of his shiny coloration. You see, Arty doesn't exactly partake in any of the mischievous activities and actions that most of his kind are noted for. He doesn't like to pull at people's hair, nor does he feel the need to wail and cackle and what not to frighten others. In fact, the mere thought of having to scare others makes him sad. Because in reality, Artemis is so tired of other people and Pokemon running away or shunning him because of his species' reputation. It's not who he is! He actually wants to try and make friends! Well, he might if he wasn't too nervous of other people and Pokemon. Artemis is always concerned about them not liking him that he becomes shy and timid around others. But, he's slowly growing out of his shell with Liselle little by little. After all, the girl tried to hug him the minute they were assigned to each other. Of course, her hands and arms went right through the little Misdreavus, but he didn't mind that as much. He was actually quite happy for the gesture. Artemis hopes to become stronger and braver for his new trainer, Liselle and do things to the best of his ability. Hopefully, Liselle won't have many.... female Pokemon on the team. He can't really do much about encountering any in the wild or even with other trainers, but.... He's kind of nervous and shy especially with females. He just can't do it....! Especially if they're really, really pretty! He'd blush too much and make a fool of himself! Oh..... Maybe Arty will gain some confidence in that area on this journey too?
