Description

*Born 17th May 2014*

I present you Harley! This was her as a baby, go check the picture out, it super cute!
Harley
Harley is a half angora "black sable" She's starting to get some of those white mitt haires though.. I expect her to get even more mitt haires when she gets older, most likely on her tail and behind paws..

Harley is now between 7 and 8 months old.

Harley is a feisty little critter.. She loves chasing toys and plastic balls with bells in them, more then any of the others I've had. If it's round, makes noise and rolls around, she loves it.

What a cutie! Will she get much bigger, or just fluffier?

Nope, this is about how big she gets.. Well she just shed her winter coat so her fur has changed color and length quite a bit now.. Like a pokemon, she evolved into, almost, a different looking creature. Haha

You should! Especially as you have her baby picture, then this one ... and so now you need "step three!"

Indeed, haha! I think it's important to make enough pictures of them on different ages and stages, so you won't regret that you don't have them in the end..

Absolutely! And with digital cameras, that's easy to do!

I was born well before digital cameras, and am kid #3 in my family, so there are not that many pictures of me - Christmas and Easter besides school pictures! That, and my mom, bless her, was a terrible photographer. I get the art genes from her mother, and they skipped over her completely!

You are? Well that's too bad actually, to not have so many pictures of your childhood,
Luckily you got those art genes! We wouldn't be who we are, if we didn't have them

Yeah - it's funny, because we have pictures in my Dad's house on my mother's side from a Great Grandmother (oil on slate), grandmother (watercolor, pencils, oil and photography she hand-tinted), my aunt (mother's sister-wood-block prints, acrylic and watercolor) and me (watercolor, colored pencil and oil pastels) and one painting my father's mother did. My Dad passed away over a year ago so we are having to figure out who is taking what.

Each one of us look at Grandma P's painting and said, "I always thought the road looked like ..." 1. a sausage 2. a Boxer dog's back end 3. a pig's back half and my other brother wasn't there ... so I forget what he thought it looked like, but one of us was going to end up with it - but my second-eldest niece expressed an interest, so we won't tell her what we see, and just let her have it!

Yeah - she got the engineer genes - which are the most dominant ones, bar far! My siblings are a plastics engineer, software, and mechanical.

I love ferrets. I want two. Do ferrets get along with cats?

Aya-Lunar In reply to KnottyMorningWood [2015-02-04 09:58:51 +0000 UTC]

They are awesome but complicated pets
They can, depends on their characters, usually ferrets are a little too wild for a cat to tollerate them, but cats can always jump higher up on places to "escape" them

Do you think cats would try to hurt them?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aya-Lunar In reply to KnottyMorningWood [2015-02-06 22:39:10 +0000 UTC]

They could try to evoke them or be a little cat-like and tease them.. But ferrets will do the same to them.. All depending on their characters

But in most cases.. It goes for both
