Description I love how incredibly timeless this little Scottish village looked. The old boats, the picturesque clouds, it could have been an oil painting.
It isn't of course, it is only a picture, but I hope you can feel this strange, heart-warming and thought-provoking atmosphere.

Yes, it is I absolutely love Scotland, it's one of the best places in the world in my opinion... So your parents are from Scotland? I always envy Scottish people a lot, that's definitely a place I'd have loved to be born in
And thank you for the kind words

I agree on cold! The last time I went I found myself borrowing my bf's clothes to feel warmer - he's kinda weird, he's never cold even when it's really freezing... At some point my feet were so cold I thought my toes would freeze and fall xD

Yes I've been in Scotland 4 times I think, once in summer, twice during spring, so it was fine, but I went once in winter and I thought I'll die Fortunately I've got this big coat that looks - and feels - very much like a sleeping bag, I'm sure this thing saved my life

Exactly! I completely felt like I wasn't in the XXIst century anymore, but without being able to connect it to a particular moment. It just felt completely and universally beautiful...

This was taken in Scotland, and I still need to remember the name of the place ^^ It's a village on the road from Glasgow to Oban. Very picturesque, like many things there...
And thank you

I'm on the east coast of Scotland and really could not place where that was

I think I remember the name, Inverare! You'll probably say it's not that small
So you live in Scotland! Lucky you I'd be so happy to live there. That's the only place in the world where even rain does not feel a burden but a blessing...

Ahh, I know of the place, it is a lovely small town I shall visit one day
Yup I do live in Scotland, infact it has been raining this evening!
But I am unsure if us locals welcome the rain as much, we are quite happy to share it around with places that need it more

Haha Doesn't surprise me, people are always keener on what they're not that used to yet
Still Scotland and his people are very much my dream country - we always joke with my partner that when we get tired of our jobs, we'll move to Scotland and start breeding lambs

Yes I liked how the atmosphere felt a bit surreal, as if I had been sucked into an oil painting of a few centuries before... I don't even think the picturesque of the boats is totally calculated, but the result is just lovely.
And thank you so much
