Its small, cold, probably leaks water, most likely has a few infestations, and its no longer there. And despite all of that, its a lot cooler looking then your house I bet. Love that old style chinese window frame and the old tile roof. This is most likely a more recent house build on top of the original house below it when the owners could finally afford to expand a little. I also like that balcony they got going around the side of the house, it seems like a nice place to sit, although I doubt it could support an "american"...ehem...Canon 30V, Canon 17-40mm F4 Lens, Fuji Velvia 100F

I can't help but ask - assuming this is in China, where is it? I visited some areas in China and saw similar houses. Chinese architecture is just way cooler than American. Great shot... +fav for sure.

The perspective of this shot is so dramatic. I love how vivid the colours are too. The combinations of reds and greens is so striking. Amazing colours. Is that place up on stilts next to a river? I can't quite make out what that is to the lower left.
Many of these old houses look a bit unsafe, but I'm sure they'd be very interesting to visit and photograph.
