This looks silly and impractical on my son's skinny little arm but on an adult wrist it fits snugly and looks, well. Like stones in a stream. Finally dreamed up something suitable for the pearls I bought last year and this is my new favorite thing to wear. Herringbone, peyote, and a bunch of just...beaddoodles. I'll have to grab a friend and get them to take a piccie of me wearing it, 'cause it's a keeper.Related content

Thank you! I really appreciate that. I was wearing it today and the checker in Safeway commented on it and I tell you: That really just made my day! I've had people comment on things I've made before, but it's usually someone I know...and that just doesn't count, does it? 'cause you never know if they're just being nice or they really mean it. So to have a perfect stranger comment really just MADE my DAY!

I hear you about compliments from strangers. People you know already expect you to wear something you made yourself, strangers often look, but are too shy to comment because it might come across the wrong way (I'm not one to keep my mouth shut, so I know how some people react to a compliment from someone they don't know).
Now if someone is so impressed that he actually says something, that's always special.
