Thanks! I have to hand it to Marine World on this: they don't have cats jumping through hoops or dancing in tutus...the behaviors they demonstrate are natural tiger behaviors, and they don't have a bunch of cats out at the same time, they do one at a time because that's how the cats are more comfortable. So ... YAY for that. BOO because we're stupid humans and we HAVE to keep cats like this because whenever we decide to let them out in nature some dumbass comes along and decides to murder it and steal bits so they can [allegedly] get the ultimate hard-on.
*sigh*.
So, it's sad to see them in captivity, but...it's truly breathtaking to see them in the flesh, and it's so much better than having them completely extinct and remembered only as someone's carpet....

I know. I'm always torn myself. Actually it was seeing a documentary called "We kill what we love" that made me stop eating meat a long time ago. I'm not vegan, and I don't know if I'll get there, and of course I have very non-vegan cats, but when I saw how they took that tiger's skin and prepared it, I cried like a baby and threw my stuffed bell pepper away because I felt it made me choke.
