Description Something quite different I'd say! Well yes i'm working on Paper Tiger and I some how thought of a place between two of our main "places" so yea with out giving to much away I needed a transitioning place that started changing into other.

This is different. Scenery can always be difficult especially if its an original piece! Good work!

The water is a bit overly blurred i think if u brush it over horizontally it'll be more reflective and crystal clear the rest is AWESOME tho!!

Lol thank you for the input! I'll remember that when I finish it. It's mainly because I didn't do anything to the water as of now. I just made a palette of blurred colors and pulled from that. XD That is probably why it looks blurred cause it is blurred. Thanks a bunch!

Thank you! I really like it as well and I hope maybe I can really make something out of it when im not busy. I'm actually doing something similar to this but with oil paint for class. So it will be interesting to compare.

oh, I..i...i.. uhh

I think i'm in envy with this, just.. HOW!!! How you do this! Its got some great depth to it! I look at it and it looks like i could just step into the scene. Did you just think up the picture in your head!??! Or is it like, based an an actual location you've seen or something?

envy envy envy envy

Thank you!! I seem to be better at digitally painting landscape than i ever can animals. But it's getting there. I do love that it has a lot of depth in the picture like you said. But it's all about lighting and shadow and where there is like there is always dark. Then there is reflective light and bla bla bla. I saw a ... oil painting? Maybe. Well any who, it was really pretty and had a small pond and flowers and about 3 main trees... it was what i thought of when first drawing this so I guess after I looked at that, It became not that at all really. Then this more green like fantasy place that i have in my head for a comic scene. There is still a lot to add to this picture. Probably even a statue in there somewhere! I'll take your envy as a great compliment! <3 Loves to you lots.

Arg if i could only steal you landscape skill, but I say its more thank your killer lighting; the whole this has a great perspective!! (oh reflective light, the reason I'm told to wear red shirts so my skin does't look so pasty.)
And the oil painting sounds so great! That you could just see a painting and go back and just whip this up is just- so... awesome! Wish i could do that; I'll have to go back and practice after seein this. I'd love to see a statue though!!!! I always have trouble incorporating stuff into a scene, the proportion always looks odd to me when i do it. So i'd love to see this finished!

Oh you take it as a compliment, but just wait till i come at you with my nails filed into points and a brain draining machine thingie. >:3

Awww hun, >w< you guys make me all warm inside. Thank you really for all the encouragement! I totally agree with the red shirts however not to red... I dont like bright red shirts O.o
Haha well I wouldnt say i whipped it out like butter on bread but its kinda the same ... err.. style? I just slapped on a bunch of colors and then started to make something out of it. *like the water* its what everything USED to look like. Just a blur of colors if that helps any bit.

NOT THE BRAIN MACHINE!! T.T

Oh you like the encouragement now, but one day I'll get an army and we'll pour so much of it on you you'll DROWN IN IT. MUAHAHAHA. Ah yeah, but funny thing is I'm not really fond of red shirts; I just needed to look as if I had blood in me. GAH, THE COLOUR SLAPPING SKILL. I envies colour slapping awesome.

I SEE YOU HAVE ENCOUNTERED SUCH MACHINES BEFORE? Skill bounty hunters are numerous and after youuu

AAAAAAAAAAH! I want to see this piece finished! Anyway, really interesting coloring, the lighting is well used to make a peacefull atmosphere, but also it remind me a bit of scary thing, maybe for the dark corner in the right! Well, hope you'll comprise what i mean, i'm not so good in english XP If you don't comprise, don't worry, read only this: AWESOME WORK!

Very very pretty. Great colors and light to it. My suggestion would be, if you wanted to make it more intricate, to add vines hanging between the trees, adding some stuff floating on the water (maybe even just pond scum type stuff), and I think that if you made more contrast between the light and the shadows it might look neat too (and by that I mean adding in sun rays from the top left and farther back in the forest and making the other areas a bit darker). Oh, and I a thought just hit me. If you don't like just grass and want to add something to the top left cliff of grass, depending on what sort of lore your story has, you could add in an over grown little statue like [link] from spirited away.
