Description
Wanting some personal feedback. So I started with just a simple doodle of the gray fox. Nothing big so I didn't get so carried away with the drawing itself. I have the lineart pretty darn close to the way i like it.I'm on the coloring part and I have to say. I've been so intimidated by the placement of colors on this fox sense day one.

i think the colors compliment each other well Kurai ^^ you're talent for drawing a variety of animals is really amazing because i know sometimes when people focus on drawing on sort of animal then try drawing another they make the second animal have anatomy similar to the first animal instead of the actual anatomy of the animal... if that makes sense

Thank you! That is just want i needed to hear. I was so afraid of the different colors and odd placing *to me* that it kinda took a lot of redoing of colors to find some that fit well together. And they are so many colors that even if you take the eyedropper tool it doesnt come out right. <3

I just looked at a gray fox picture and I think this is great. I think the color placement is just fine, you got the orange right on. I would say that in the pictures I've seen, the black around the nose and end of the tail is a bit darker and more blackish. Apart from that, depending on how detailed you want to get, the gray fur seems like it would be a really challenge with all the little changes in white and gray and black.

Hows that? I make it a bit darker but I think I'm afraid to go really dark because of lighting... but i really shouldn't be. Ether way it is still noticeably darker.

Just fine now. And your definitely right about him being a pain to draw, but I think have also have the right idea about how to deal with that.

Yea I see what you mean! I probably could go darker with the tips like you said. But I really was unsure about how detailed to go into it. I haven't even got into the shading and it was already a lot of work for a quality photo. But i have to think simple first because I have to really think about drawing this possibly tons more times and at least 4 times in one page too! Of course you never know if I'll use a simple style or not. It's what ever i really like in the end result and can not get mad at. It is possible to make detailed pictures for more special pages. But i'll make a few of these with different coloring styles to see what I and my audience likes.
