Yay! I just finished taking pictures of my red gown! I'm very happy with how everything turned out; it was exactly the dress I needed for my senior recital.

Everything was designed and constructed by myself, the draping and pleats were all done by hand--my hands lol yes, I'm feeling quite proud of this dress! I'd say it took about 3-4 business days to complete.

I just can't believe I went from a simple 1950's housewife dress (with many MANY mistakes) to this gorgeous ball gown over the course of 2 years! With hardly any knowledge of sewing, I feel that I've come very far. Although from now on I will not be taking anymore 'shortcuts' with my work. I've now learned how to do things the 'proper' way while still being as creative as can be, thanks to my mother and sister. Huzzah!
