Thought I would share with you a few pictures of my autumn dress, the process of making it is shown here I'll be taking better pictures of the front and back later, but I couldn't wait to show everyone what it looks like! Gorgeous! Lovely work. I've never done any ribbon embroidery before myself, but, I have an art project that I'm wanting to use it in, so, its going to be something I'll learn. How did you find learning it?

lol thank you, I looked up some pictures of ribbon embroidery on Pinterest and then just kind of dove into it. I made a few sloppy mistakes, but after seeing a simple video tutorial, I think I figured it out pretty well. I'm hoping to eventually do more intricate designs in the future. Your beadwork is absolutely beautiful, by the way. My suggestion would be to use a fabric with a looser weave than silk because I had a very difficult time pulling the ribbon through.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah thats how I often find myself learning new things, finding something cool and then looking it up online. I especially like learning things from videos. Youtube is great, its taught me so many things. <3
