Big-O and Megas are roughly the same size, and in terms of physical strength and possibly firepower Megas might outclass Big-O, I'd have to rewatch Megas XLR again but both have taken on similar threats. But since Megas was made as a parody of the Super Robot genre, it's supposed to be as OP as fuck. I just prefer Big-O because 1. It looks cooler
2. Roger Smith is a better pilot than Coop is, which is important when you're doing these kinds of battles; the quality of the pilot is often what wins the day

If anyone else made the same comment as yours I'd reply like this as well.
Big O is 30m while Megas is 36m (very close to 40 which is 70's Gaiking and MMPR Megazord/Daizyujin size).
Also Big O hasn't exactly taken on entire armies of mecha along with a living planet or broken out of a dimension which is basically the multiverse crushing whatever's inside. It also didn't cleanse a ring the area of an entire planet of all its lifeforms.
Megas can also send mecha the same size as it flying with a punch.
Of course, Megas is basically Gurren Lagann before it even existed.
The first part is opinion, which is fine.

That there's literally no way Roger is more skilled than Coop.
Megas is piloted by a combination of video game and car controls that he himself set up to work his own way. Thus his lifelong experience with video games translates to skill in piloting a mecha. Which is why soloing the Glorft is barely a problem for him. He even solos other armies besides the Glorft.
His dumb luck moments only come when it looks like he can't win at all.

Assumptions don't count either, only what they've already done so your argument=invalid, if you're seriously trying to make an argument. Coop's entire life is video games, that's his experience. Whether you like it or not. And even if Roger was piloting Big O from childhood defending some small NYC lookalike only, it still means nothing.
It's only your opinion, that's it. Even if it does lack facts to back it up.

if megas was less popular, i'd still say he wins, because i watched both shows front to back. hell, i'm making a drawing of em in a cross counter.(punching eachother in the face at the same time) i'd honestly say it would be an even match, if the fight was animated in the right hands. big o COULD get the advantage if he times his final stage (almost typed final flash lol) perfectly, thus shutting megas down. however, if coop pressed the right combo, and activated some blutz-wave cannon or something, he could get an advantage. i'm not trying to be a dick, i'm just trying to have a friendly conversation. i guess you've seen too many trolls and jackasses to recognize when a conversation is friendly. (sorry if that last part sounded dickish)

Well, if we're going just by the robots themselves, then yes, Megas does have an overwhelming advantage over Big O. However, in terms of piloting ability, Roger would most likely outdo Coop. This is what I was trying to explain to the other guy; Roger has been piloting Big O for a while, probably even years, while Coop still needs help to run Megas (that IS one of the biggest reasons he keeps Jamie and Kiva around, right?).

the fact that megas has 3 operators makes it more deadly. and besides, rodger is piloting a standard mecha that has weapons he might not even know about, while coop pilots a custom mech made from a workshopped cockpit made from a car, and a bunch of video game consoles. he himself crafted it, so he knows how to perfectly pilot it. as for weapons, every single one is of his design, so he knows every last one like the back of his hand (except the taccheon beacon in the first episode) he even has a manual operation device installed in case of system failure, meaning he has another good 3 minutes of kickass before going down, and that's only if he spills his drink in the vent or something. but let's look at it this way: if megas and big o ever DID cross ways, they would team up.

sure, big o is more well known somehow, (i've seen it. great show) but megas destroys planets every other episode. sure, big o has his fair share of hidden weapons, but megas has a new shiny bigass gun or 3, every episode. and that's 26 episodes.
trust me. i love big o to death, but he just doesn't win this.
