Description
So I decided to do another Photoshop picture. Hell, it's only my second one.This time I took the drawing and did not create line art for it, instead using the pencil sketch as the base (which explains the sketchy, dirty look) Color, shadow, gradient, ect.
Problem is that I meant to create a background for this, but unfortunately I ran into trouble and didn't think ahead, which explains the boring dark background. Also I had some trouble with one of my layers when I erased the white background if you do a close-up near Waluigi's hair - somehow that part would not erase and I flipped through all of the layers to see if it was another one that I was missing.
Let's see. This time I decided to try out my shadows and light, along with some anatomy.

Seriously, this is my favourite pairing ever. No cute, bishi men allowed. I was undecided whether Eggman was supposed to have a Chaos Emerald in his hand or not. Truth be told, if I knew I wasn't going to have the outside field of grass background, I should have went with that. BAH.
"Got you. Now, what should I do with you?"

No, not at all. We may have differing views about what falls under the umbrella term of "gross," but honestly I cannot fathom what is so disgusting about Waluigi and Robotnik being in love. Sure they aren't what you would consider "aesthetically pleasing" to the eye, but that is the whole point about their pairing aside from the matching personalities, because couples don't have to be stereotypically unilateral with kawaii ukes and semes.
And yes I can see some humor coming out of the relationship, but from their personalities and oversight on plans.

Oh, you will see plenty of them in the future. I like drawing/writing this pairing a lot.

I'm intrigued to see what you'll come up with. Tell me what spawned this pairing? Was it the Mario and Sonic Olympic games?

This pairing was created way before Mario and Sonic even was announced. I was so sick of seeing all of these "bishi" pairings and yaoi fics being written - nobody tended to focus on normal and "ugly" characters since everything had to be pink, prim and proper.
These characters were the Sephiroths that farted rainbows and the Narutos that swooned.
So who was a poster child for the anti-bishie coalition? Well Waluigi was as devilishly unattractive as a villain could get (his looks are as ancient as dirt when it comes to the stereotypical villain) and Robotnik was outright shunned in fics and seen as a "joke character" (If you have ever read a Sonic fanfiction, 90% of the time Robotnik is the one who murdered X character just because.) What was the icing on the cake is that the two seemed eerily alike in looks, demeanor, and not to mention Eggman seemed to be a Mushroom Kingdom exile (he just had that Mario character veneer.)And after extensive personality and characterization research both villains seemed to fit like puzzle pieces.
Oh and not to mention both are as campy as a pink satin tent with glitter fronds - moreso with Waluigi.
So, they started out as a joke pairing more of a trolling attempt to the Yaoi community.
However apparently Nintendo thought of the same idea and started to pair them off (Wario also) in every M&S game from now til eternity during their press releases and in game, so adding fuel on the fire the idea of them being together really grew on me and now I absolutely like them as a consummate couple.

Since you put it in paragraphs that I read efficiently which made me really think of what you just said, I have to agree with you. xD I never really understood the girlish guy looking yaoi characters. Sure, I like them, but let's be reasonable. Not everyone is handsome and feminine like the many that are portrayed. Also I lol at the Sephiroth comment. It made my day.
I think this pairing is great and different. Very creative and not very many people would have thought to pair these characters together. Trust me, like you said, Robotnik is pretty much a joke in FFs, even though he's like the only true villain in Sonic. You'd think he'd get a little more respect. He does have a Mushroom Kingdom air to him, though it may just be his mustache. xD
I have yet to play any of the Olympic games due to lack of Wii systems, but I'm planning on getting one.

Practice. I usually see Eggman's anatomy as an anomaly for a man - he does indeed have wide shoulders but his hips are also like a woman's. If you can draw Waluigi, and perhaps Wario, then you will have no problem with Robotnik since he is practically a combination of the two.
