This adorable little cat-person is modeled after my cat, Shasta. He's the cutest orange tabby in the world, and yeah... it's a he... but cat's are androgynous, practically, it's not like you can tell the gender by just looking at the face, pshh...um, the background sucks... lo siento, but i had a lot of fun with the japanese character font, woohoo

[EDIT] some douche-bag f***-hole just poisoned Shasta a couple days ago and he died. i really really really hope karma exists right now.

The name Shasta immediately reminds me of The Horse and His Boy, 3rd in the Chronicles of Narnia. Your adorable cat-person somehow fits my image of him, though with different colourings - Shasta, or Cor, as he later becomes known, is Archenlandish and has blonde hair and blue eyes. Your cat-boy is so cute though, I want one! >.<

haha aaaaaw!! that's actually who he was named after xD my cat before Shasta was a black tabby named Caspian (he was the cuuuutest) and my sisters had cats named Diggory, Corin and Eustace : D (we had a few other cats, but without Narnia names, we lived on a farm lol) the Horse and His Boy is my favourite Narnia book x3 <3

The eyes are...beautiful but also scary ...*keeps staring at the eyes* it tends to draw you in O.o...You're right about the rest, he/she..really androgynous,but that's fashion these days in Japan ne?

weeee I've missed your art. Those eyes are amazing, and that hair is so detailed. *-* It looks a lot like watercolor. The only thing I'd say is that the neck is a little thin and the shoulders make him look robotic/doll-like. Other than that, I really like it. =]
