Gouache24x32 cm
A painting I did for my fiancΓ©es mother. She likes butterflies and the colors orange and green. So monarch butterfly seemed like the perfect painting object.
I can't even remember when I started this, maybe 3 months ago? Took me long enough in work hours, I've never spent so much time in one painting. Butterflies were a piece of cake but the background took more than 30 hours.
I know, I'm sloooow...
I didn't have my scanner working, so I just took a photo. : P

Everything would've been more clearer and neater if I didn't have to take photo. *glares at scanner*
In fullview it now looks blurred. :\
But I'm happy with the picture and happy that you like it. .D

Yeah ive got a scanner but it always messed my colours anyway >.>
And camera... just waiting for it to be delivered
Plus I cant really tell that is blurred in full view, I think the outcome is really good

The butterflies lead my eyes around the painting so nicely, and the colours compliment very well <3

Hehe, I used some photo as a reference, but I edited it and composed the butterflies like that. Im happy that it paid off.
